Description
Cagrilintide is a long-acting synthetic analogue of the hormone amylin, which is co-secreted with insulin and plays a role in the regulation of appetite and glucose metabolism. It is currently under investigation for its potential applications in models of obesity and type 2 diabetes, both independently and in combination with GLP-1 receptor agonists such as semaglutide (a combination known as CagriSema). Preclinical and clinical research suggests notable effects on body weight regulation in studied populations. For Research Use Only. Not intended for human consumption, medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic purposes.
